We are a NO-CIRC facility.

At AquaNatal Birth Center, we are advocates of non-violent childbirth, women-centered childbirth, Leboyer birth, immediate breastfeeding with skin-to-skin contact.  That said, we see no medical, cultural, or ANY REASON for male genital mutilation!  I have 2 sons (ages 21 & 12) and neither are mutilated.  Neither have had ANY problem with their penis -- and my older son Jaye (my tiny 2 1/2 pound preemie born at 31weeks at Loma Linda University Medical Center) has thanked me for making that decision for him.

Did you know that at Loma Linda University Medical  Center, you CANNOT have your baby son "mutilated" there?  As a Seventh Day Adventist hospital, they do not allow such a mutilation procedure with no medical indication, to be performed at their facility.
